Anonymous releases thousands of alleged records of Israeli officials

Anonymous releases thousands of alleged records of Israeli officials:
It appears that Anonymous has struck again in its ongoingcyber-war against the state of Israel, this time with the releaseof a batch of thousands of names, ID numbers, email addresses andgeographic information which allegedly correspond to Israelipoliticians, IDF officers, and even Mossad agents.
RT has viewed the spreadsheets but has not yet been able toverify the legitimacy of the data, which has quickly garneredthousands of views as the documents spread via social media.
Dubbed “#OpIsrael” on Twitter, various collectives of theamorphous Anonymous community are targeting official Israeli webdomains, evidently causing intermittent disruption to the officialwebsite of spy agency Mossad via a self-described “sophisticatedDDoS” attack.
The data was released by a hacker team going by the name of “TheRed Hack,” a Turkish group, while the direct denial-of-serviceattack targeted at Mossad was attributed to another group operatingunder the moniker “Sektor 404.”
